Kozhikode: Jamia Markaz’s prestigious orphan care programme, which is protecting orphans from a very young age supporting them at home, was concluded in Markaz convention centre Kozhikode yesterday. 6,000 students in the country are part of this project. Markaz gave them the amount to learn, food, and medical every year. More than 100 million rupees distribute this year as part of this project. The programme was organised ahead of the 43rd anniversary of Markaz held in April 2020. Markaz chancellor Kanthapuram A.P Aboobacker Musliyar presided over the programme. Banglore based educationalist Baba Sait inaugurated. He lauded the activities of Marka as it has enlargened across the country and acutely caring to develop the marginalised communities. Dr Abdul Hakkim Azhari delivered the keynote address. SSA Qadir Haji Banglore, mufti Sajjad Husain Mysore, Rasheed punnasseri, CP Siraj Saqafi spoke.
